Veracity Launch offers
some basic reports about logins, attempts, durations, and completions. However, you can get
more advanced reports and learning analytics when you integrate an
xAPI-conformant Learning Record Store (LRS).
In the LRS, Generate an Endpoint
You must set-up an endpoint to your external LRS before you can integrate it with Launch and start collecting xAPI data from your content. Your LRS should have a menu option or button to generate these “credentials”:
- Log-in to your LRS as an admin.
- In the Admin, Management, or Apps menu, select the Key or Credential option.
- Click the Add or Create button.
- Copy the LRS Endpoint URL, Key Username, and Secret Password.
In Launch, Integrate the LRS
Once you establish your LRS credentials:
- Login to your Veracity Launch portal.
- In the left menu, select the ADMIN > Manage Integrations > LRS and xAPI Integration option.
- On the Manage LRSs page, click the Create LRS Integration button.

- Next, enter a Name and Description (optional); and paste the Endpoint URL, Username (Key), and Password (Secret).

- When ready, click the Add Integration button. From now on, your content will send xAPI data to the LRS. To check that it’s working correctly…
- In Launch, launch a piece of content.
- In the LRS, see if it got the xAPI data successfully.
You can add more than one LRS to Veracity Launch, but you can have only one LRS enabled at a time. If you must send xAPI data to more than one LRS, then you can set up statement forwarding rules within your LRS interface (if supported).
