Managing System Permissions
In the Veracity Launch LMS, you can let your learners manage courses, classes, content, and even other learners. The LMS limits each function with a permission setting. We organized these permissions into a hierarchy that expands into fine categories, with a checkbox at each level.
How to Edit Permissions
To change the permission settings for one of your learners…
- In the left menu, in the ADMIN section, select the Manage Learners option.
- Find the row for the learner that you want to edit. At the left end of that row, click the Actions menu icon (three vertical dots).
- In the Actions pop-up menu, select the Edit Permissions menu option.
- In the Edit Permissions page, expand the settings, and click a checkmark next to the permissions you want to give this learner.
- When finished, click the Save button.
The learner may have to refresh their browser before they see their new permission take effect.
You can select many checkboxes, and at any level to give the learner finer or broader permission.
For example, to make a learner a full system administrator, choose the top-level portal permission.
