Whether you're just starting out with xAPI and have a need for a free LRS, or if you’re a seasoned organization ready to move to a production environment, Veracity Learning has you covered with a variety of different options to choose from.
On-Premises or SaaS?
First, you need to determine which plan you need, based on your hosting requirements. You (the customer) need to determine whether you:
1) require the LRS to be installed and hosted on your own network and infrastructure (On-Premises)
- OR -
2) require the LRS to be hosted on Veracity’s cloud-based, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environment
Once you’ve determined whether the LRS should be hosted (On-Premises or SaaS), then choose from the following options:
SaaS Plans Offered
We offer both monthly and annual subscription options for both shared SaaS and dedicated SaaS customers. Please see our pricing page for more details on the pricing for each plan.
Free - intended for getting started with xAPI or building your first prototype. Hosted on our shared environment at LRS.io. Please see our
plans page for all features and limitations.
Starter - intended for small-scale projects with minimal xAPI data storage requirements. Hosted on our shared environment at LRS.io. Please see our
plans page for all features and limitations.
Pro - intended for moderate-sized projects and hosted on a shared AWS infrastructure with other LRS customers. Hosted on our shared environment at LRS.io. Please see our
plans page for all features and limitations.
Expert - intended for production-ready projects and hosted on our dedicated infrastructure with no other LRS customers sharing resources. Please see our
plans page for all features and limitations.
Enterprise - intended for production-ready projects that require high availability with unlimited storage and API calls, hosted on our dedicated infrastructure with no other LRS customers sharing resources. Please see our
plans page for all features and limitations.
On-Premises Licenses Offered
LRS Lite (Free)
If you need to deploy a free LRS for a pilot project on your own local machine, network, or infrastructure, then check out our
free lite version. It's free to use for any purpose, including commercial applications. It has all the basics you'll need to get started tracking data from xAPI content.
Enterprise (On-Prem)
If you have regional data sovereignty requirements, security restrictions, or any other requirements that prohibit cloud hosting, the LRS can be installed and run on your own network premises. This means the LRS is hosted, accessed, and maintained on your company’s computers and infrastructure. The On-Premises LRS can run on any Operating System (OS) and can be installed anywhere. This option includes an annual license fee and requires an additional installation and configuration process. The license fee is determined based on the amount of application servers required to run the LRS, so it’s based on the size of your deployment.

Enterprise (White Label)
A white label version of the On-Premises LRS is for resellers and customer rebranding. This allows you to offer your customers their own xAPI-conformant LRS solution or bundle it with your existing product(s) or services, faster and at a fraction of the price. Please see our
