Tableau Integration

Tableau Integration

Veracity LRS supports Tableau via a Web Data Connector. This connector allows you to import your saved statement reports into Tableau for analysis. This tool can only pull saved statement viewer reports. If you have none, first create any report in the statement viewer portion of the LRS.

Warning
Currently, reports using the "Full Text Search" flag are not supported.

Open Tableau, and a "Web Data Connector"

The URL for the connector will be the url of your LRS's homepage, plus "/tableau"

Ideahttps://lrs.io/ui/lrs/{your lrs name}/tableau

You'll be prompted to log into the LRS. The connector currently does not support logins that use 2FA.

In the dropdown called "Select Report", choose the saved report that you wish to import. The column names will be displayed.

Click "Fetch Data"

Tableau will display a UI to confirm the columns and table name. Click "Sheet1" to perform the extract.

Tableau will pull data. This may take some time depending on the size of your report. This tool has been tested to 10,000,000 rows. Once the data is imported, you can view and analyze your xAPI data in Tableau.
